   More Coming Sometime...soon?

This year I followed my usual procedure and walked up and down the flight-line looking for interesting angles. There were a number of interesting transport type aircraft, including a UPS 727 (with "Experimental" stenciled on the tail!), a NASA 757, a restored Coast Guard VC-3A (Martin 404), the MATS Connie, the Museums of Flight's unique Boeing 247D (that I had seen before during a visit to the MOF's restoration facility in Everett, WA), A 1929 Fokker Super Universal (with the most bungies I've ever seen in a landing-gear!), a facstinating US Custom's Service P-3 Orion with an AWACS-like radar system, the S.C. Johnson Co's recreated "Spirit of Carnuba", and a large number of DC-3's.

Right now I have all of the photos from the PictureCDs on the site. I still have a number of in-flight and other misc. pictures to scan. Right now, the sub-pages are pretty much just photographs with a minimal number of my inane comments and links (the DC-3s are a notable exception); I'm hoping to add the usual background information and links to the others soon.

As always, if you have any interesting information about any planes here, please drop me a note. I'd love to add it to the page.

I've made a real effort to pay attention to the navigation around the pages. At the top and bottom of every page, there is a standard "quick naviagtion" bar with links to every page in this section. If you have any suggestions about improving navigation through these pages, please drop me a note.

Technical Details:
These photographs were taken with two cameras, an Olympus OM-2 35mm SLR, and Canon ELPH 260Z (APS) "point-and-shoot" camera. Most 35mm photos were shot with a Tokina 35-70mm zoom; other lenses are: Olympus Zuiko 50mm/f1.8, Tamaron 135mm/f2.5, and Olympus Zuiko 28mm/f2.8. Film was on Kodak ASA 200 Gold and ADVANTiX 200 film. Most of the 35mm images were processed by Kodak and scanned onto PictureCD; other photos were processed and the prints scanned using a Microtek ScanMaker V310 scanner and ScanWizard 3.2.2 on an Apple Macintosh 7200/75. Scanning parameters were 180 dpi; the contrast/brightness were adjusted using manual histogram setting of the black and white levels. After scanning, the image was filtered using an unsharp mask in ColorIt! 3.0 before being saved as TIFF. All photos (scanned and PictureCD) were processed using GraphicConverter 3.4.1 to convert them to JPEG and re-scale to "small" and "medium" sizes. MacPerl scripts were used to automatically re-name the three size images and to create the initial HTML table stucture.
